The Inspiration Behind Adventure Canine
Hi friends, Kayla and Bradyn here!
Starting in 2024, we were inspired to found Adventure Canine Academy. We’ve both had challenging dogs that other trainers gave up on. Kayla was even told to euthanize her dog because “there was no hope.” Instead, she dove headfirst into every training program and refused to give up. Along the way, she fell completely in love with canine behavior.
That same dog now lives his absolute best life, and he’s the reason this business exists. We built this to be the place we wish we had back then: a supportive, knowledgeable, real-world-focused academy that helps dogs and their people thrive together.
A great day now is exploring the world with the dogs and watching them light up. Think snowy zoomies, splashing in the lake, and those post-hike cuddle sessions they insist on. Join us on our next adventure!
Meet the Behaviorists
Kayla
With 14 certifications and degrees and mentorship under a veterinary behaviorist, I’m committed to lifelong learning and thoughtful training. My goal is to improve dogs’ lives through clear communication, calm foundations, and methods that support both the dog and the human.
Bradyn
My background in the veterinary field led me to dog training, with a focus on helping dogs that struggle. After being mentored under a behaviorist, I continue to pursue education and training programs to ensure I offer knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective support to clients.
